Hampton Park engagement portraits are always a fun experience as we get to spend time with a couple in love surrounded by some of Charleston’s natural beauty. It doesn’t hurt that the park is quiet and peaceful, perfect for those idyllic photos for the one-of-a-kind save the dates you’re envisioning! For Emily and Erik, they wanted their photos to pick up on the contemporary southern charm that the park offers, and Priscilla was on hand for every sweet moment.
The duo arrived ready to go, dressed to impress. Emily looked radiant in a blue dress perfect for the warm afternoon. Decked out in a button-up, slacks and a blazer, Erik was quite handsome standing next to his lady. Priscilla led them down pathways beneath a canopy of Spanish moss hanging from oak branches crisscrossing overhead. They held hands and held onto one another, their smiles never fading once.
A quick wardrobe change and it was back to business! Sporting a more casual fuchsia top and white jeans, Emily was drop dead gorgeous. The afternoon sun was beginning to fade into the horizon and its golden hue set everything ablaze. We love the photos surrounded by trees and resting in front the faded blue building but the true beauty was held by the marsh. With the sunlight twinkling over the still waters, Erik held Emily close and gave her a sweet kiss, drawing to a close what was most definitely a beautiful afternoon.
Thank you so much for choosing us to bring your special day to life and we’ll see you in the fall for the wedding!
